Baylor Duo
Griffin’s college teammate WR KENDALL WRIGHT also hopes to have his name called in Round 1. If both players are selected in the first round, it would mark the second consecutive year Baylor would have two players selected on opening night. In 2011, PHIL TAYLOR (No. 21 overall, Cleveland) and DANNY WATKINS (No. 23, Philadelphia) became the first pair of Baylor players to be selected in Round 1 of an NFL Draft.
Baylor has had eight first-round picks since the inception of the common draft in 1967.
