NFL Network in talks with Time Warner - Ingles

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, participating in a fan forum on Thursday in North Carolina, spoke about the prospects of the NFL Network getting wider distribution, particularly on Time Warner Cable, one of the nation's largest carriers.

Time Warner Cable of Wisconsin is the state's largest cable TV carrier.

"You’ll be happy to know we were in negotiations today with Time Warner," Goodell said. "We’re trying to get that done. We believe it’s good for fans, we think it’s good for Time Warner and we believe the market’s been set. We’re in over 62 million homes I believe right now with the NFL Network and we know fans want more of it. That’s why we created it, and we will not stop until we get it fully distributed.” This article was written by Bob Wolfley and appeared in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
