NFL Network’s Scott Hanson to Host “NFL RedZone”
NFL Networkis launching the new NFL RedZone channel this season that willbring fans every touchdown of every game on Sunday afternoons, NFL Network President and CEO Steve Bornstein announced today.
NFL RedZone will be madeavailable to cable, telco and satellite distributors and is scheduled to debuton the first Sunday of the 2009 NFL regular season September 13 at 1:00 PMET/10 AM PT.
NFL RedZone, produced by NFL Network, whips around every NFL game on Sunday afternoons delivering thetouchdowns and most exciting moments live and in high definition. When ateam goes inside the 20-yard line, fans see the crucial plays as theyhappen. The channel keeps fans up-to-date in real time, switching fromgame to game with live look-ins, highlights and a chance to see every important play.
“NFL RedZone is one of the most exciting new products for football fans sincethe invention of instant replay,” said Bornstein. “We are currently indiscussions with distributors so fans will be able to watch this new channel on Sunday afternoons.”
Scott Hansonis the host of NFL RedZone moving from NFL Network’s NFL Game Day Morning on Sundays to the new state-of-the-art NFL RedZone studiocurrently being constructed at NFL Network headquarters in Los Angeles.
NFL RedZone, produced by NFL Network, is a different channel than DirecTV’s Red Zone Channel, which ispart of DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket™ package.
